Die Cast Operator, $18.50 – 2nd Shift - Sparta, MI

Qualifications: 

• Diagnose and perform minor repairs on die cast and trim press machines
• Repair water, hot oil, and minor hydraulic leaks on die
• Maneuver through Panel View on auto trim presses
• Setting die halves and trim dies

Skills:

• Die Cast experience 
• Lockout/Tag Out from CDC/GL if applicable 
• High School Diploma/GED

In this role, you will be operating and maintaining production, scrap, and uptime targets on a daily basis. Be at work on time with a desire of performing to the best of your abilities. Work from written process sheets to perform any die casting and/or trim machine operation. Visually inspect for defects following established procedures along with detecting and reporting improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to the proper supervisor. Complete all required paperwork per instructions and follow all quality inspection processes. You may perform relief for die cast as needed. This is a foundry, it gets really hot in the summer and can be pleasant in the winter.
