Cutt-off Operator- Grinding, 2^nd shift - up to $17.00- $21.00/hr. - Bremen, IN

Preferred Qualifications:

•  Check parts for length, O.D., end square, straightness and deformation, roundness, and surface defects.
• Make changeovers utilizing proper material grade, wire diameter, and tooling (draw dies, all machine tooling)
• Weigh and properly tag each barrel. Production data is scanned electronically.
• Prepare SPC documentation.
• Maintain clean work area and equipment; move parts to designated area. Operate forklift.

Preferred Skills:

• Must be mechanically inclined to make changeovers.
• Must be organized to run numerous machines simultaneously.
• Must be familiar with basic SPC requirements, and have the ability to weigh products, properly tag each barrel, and scan production data.
• Physical requirements: Stoop = 50%, Sit = 25%, Stand = 100%, Bend = 75%
• (frequency spent) Walking = 100%, Climbing = 25%, Dexterity = 50% ,
• Lifting = 50% up to 50 lbs., Pushing = 50% up to 600 lbs.
• Must be able to work in the heat.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.
• Understand and utilize department work instructions.
