Production Worker - up to $17/hour - 1st Shift - Mishawaka, IN

Qualifications:

• Must be able to work the following shifts:

• 6:30 am – 5:00 pm

• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs on a regular basis.

• Must have high attention to detail.

• Must be flexible as breaks and lunches will vary from day to day due to the cycles of the presses.

• Able to go in freezer a 0°F.

• Able to keep the freezer organized and located the oldest roll of Carbon Fiber for issuance to daily jobs.

• Must not be afraid of computers and learn how to operate presses through a control interface.

• Must be able to learn the process and be able to troubleshoot shoo own work and understand where the issues are; for example trouble shoot and understand why they are not getting a “seal” on their stack of carbon fiber layup to pull vacuum.

• Must be able to understand inventory and perform job transactions, input materials and lot numbers to their outbound inventory, via our ERP system.

• High school diploma.

• USA Citizen.

Skills:

• Prior Machine Operating experience.

• Ability to read gages(Micrometers/Calipers/Depth gages).

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Utilize manual and/or automated equipment and machinery to meet the production requirements of these functions.   Demonstrate a high level of detail for the inspection of products, reviewing cosmetic issues and print issues on each part.  Parts that are being worked on at this facility are panels for aircraft.
