Job Description

CNC Operator:

Preferred Qualifictions:

Plan and complete job setup, including programming, quality control, training, and work hazard assessment on production-run jobs.
Completete first piece setup/run/inspection of production run jobs.
Troubleshoot production run jobs to ensure part acceptance criteria.
Plan and complete part run, including programming and quality control and maintain safety on assigned jobs.
Communicate with supervisors and other employees as needed.

Preferred Skills:

Must have strong productivity background in operating CNC Machining Centers and or Lathes.
Ability to read blueprints and thorough understanding of GDT.
Must be dependable and able to work independently.
Must have knowledge of measuring parts with correct quality measuring equipment, maintaining measuring equipment, and calibrating measuring equipment.

Job purpose:

To perform job set up of mill or lathe operations to part acceptance criteria. Monitor and maintain production schedule.
