CNC Machinist, up to $33.50/hr, Grass Lake, MI
 
Are you looking for a new opportunity? Are you looking to start or continue your career in CNC Machining? If so, this is the position for you!
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for setting up and operating vertical and/or horizontal milling equipment
  • Must be able to linear and contour machines details per layout direction and/or profile and contour programs
  • Machine each job to customer standards, while keeping waste to a minimum
  • Verification of job setups
  • Must understand die designs
 
Qualifications:
  • CNC operating/programming experience 
  • If you don’t have a degree or certificate than you must have 1-2 years of manufacturing experience in automotive tooling
  • Experience with Smirt Die Shop and Die NC for linear work experience preferred
  • GD&T experience preferred
 
 
In this position, the CNC Machinist will be responsible for  setting up, programming, and operating vertical and/or horizontal milling equipment. This position is going from 2:30pm-12:30am or 3:30pm-1:30am M-Sat, with some Sunday OT as required. This is a temporary to full time hire opportunity!
