Machine Operator, $16/hr – 1st Shift - Grand Haven

A Grand Haven company specializing in the production of precision machined parts is seeking a Machine Operator on 1st shift to help machine parts that meet customer specs. Hours are 5:30am-4:00pm (Monday-Thursday.) Overtime as required.

Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Previous blueprint reading & ability to read micrometers/calipers is required
  • 5 years experience with 2 and 3 axis lathe set up required
  • Experience with G codes and Fanuc control
  • Experience working with multiple cutting tools

Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to manage departmental documentation
  • Excellent attendance habit
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
 
Machine operators are expected to load and unload various CNC machines and make sure parts meet customer specifications. This is a full-time temporary to permanent position.
