As the Cost Estimator, you will be responsible for working alongside management to calculate the expense of developing and producing custom metal products simply by viewing blueprints. Responsibilities: ● Assist management with cost evaluation and time effective methods ● Ability to read blueprints, mechanical documents, drawings, etc. ● Prepared to operate CNC Machines (Company uses Micro Estimating software) ● Knowledgeable of computer functions ● Willing to perform tasks such as drilling and milling - if needed ● Quality control Skills: ● 5+ years CNC exposure ● Knowledgeable of metal fabrication ● Ability to predetermine time and cost of production - even complicated shapes ● Precision and quality control ● Ability to template is a plus Let’s go to work!
