Job Description
Evening into Night Shift Blanchard Grinder, $20/hr - Belmont, MI
Work a 4-day work week!
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience setting up and operating Blanchard Grinding machines or relative experience in the Tool and Die trade preferred, but not required
- Ability to read a micrometer, a scale, and indicators to make adjustments
- General understanding of machinery
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively
Skills:
- Reliable Transportation
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to be trained
In this role, you will be setting up, adjusting, and operating a rotary wheel Blanchard grinder to grind flat or irregular surfaces of steel plates. You will be responsible for selecting, changing, and dressing wheels for flat grinding and making adjustments to the machine. This local company specializes in manufacturing heavy equipment parts, dies, and molds.
