Automatic Press Operator, $15/hr – 2nd Shift - Norton Shores

A local Norton Shores manufacturer of various metal products for the furniture and industrial markets are looking for Automatic Press Operators to join their growing team on 2nd Shift! Hours are 2:30pm-11:00pm (Monday-Friday). Overtime will be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous automatic press machine experience is required
- Ability to read and input various measurements and reports into computer
- Experience with feeding coil metal into machines
- setting up press beds with appropriate tool and die
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to use calipers and micrometers
- Attention to detail is needed
- Be able to work in a team setting
- Be able to refer to set up sheets and work orders
- Must be comfortable standing for entirety of their shift.
Automatic Press Operators will be responsible for feeding coil metal into presses, setting up press beds with appropriate tool and die as well as referring to setup sheets and work instructions to be able to operate an automatic press and complete many versions of quality inspections to ensure high quality for the automotive industry.
