Job Description
Audio Video Installation Technician, up to $23/hr - Ann Arbor, MI
Do you have a background in installing audio/visual video equipment? Are you comfortable with integrating, installing, rigging, and configuring A/V systems for a professional client base? If so, this is the place for you!
Qualifications:
- Must have hands-on experience with all aspects of structured cabling: pulling, terminating, testing, Cat5e/6, video, VGA, HDMI, audio RCA/XLR cable
- We prefer industry certifications such as CTS
- Experience in troubleshooting commercial A/V installations
- Ability to read and manage schematic system flow documentation
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing and implementing skills which allow the successful completion of a project by a specific due date
- Strong personal and Customer Service Skills
- Communication skills, verbal and written
Skills:
- A/V rigging experience a plus such as projector, monitor and projection screen installation
- Technical knowledge and proficiency in basic MS office applications, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Industry certifications such as CTS preferred but not required

- Strong personal and Customer Service Skills
A day in the life at this company for this position consists of showing up and working from 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday. In this position, you’d be responsible for integrating, installing, rigging, and configuring A/V systems for a professional client base. This position does require you to have some of your own basic hand tools, anything else is provided. This is a great opportunity to make good money and put your skills to use!
