Assembler, $17/hr – 1st Shift - Fruitport

A company specializing in the original equipment manufacturer that produces steel laboratory and office furniture is seeking Assemblers to join their dynamic team!   This is a 1st shift position from 6:00am-2:30pm (Monday-Friday.) Overtime will be required. 
 
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools to assemble product
  • Will ensure proper packaging and orders are assigned correctly
  • Responsible for packing and prepping the products for shipment
  • Responsible for ensuring that workstations are properly cleaned 
 
Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to do repetitive lifting up to 75 lbs as needed
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills are required
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Previous manufacturing experience is required
 
Work as part of a team in a clean, comfortable facility to do assembly work.  Will be assembling metal laboratory and office furniture using hand and power tools.  This is a full-time temporary to permanent position.
