Job Description

Assembler, $17/hr - Wixom, MI
 
Do you have experience in a manufacturing or production setting? Are you looking to get in and work for a rapidly growing company that makes signs for all of your favorite brands that want you to grow with them? If so, this could be a fantastic opportunity for you!
 
Qualifications
  • Assist in the collection of all materials and tools needed to begin the process
  • Use tools (screw drivers, plyers, wire-cutters, glue-gun, etc.) to complete the assembly of signs
  • Identify measurements to ensure perfect fit of components
  • Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications
  • Align material and put together parts to build more complex units
  • Check output to ensure highest quality
  • Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts
 
Skills
  • 0-1 year of manufacturing or production experience
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
 
 
A day in the life at this company for this position consists of showing up and working 6:00am-2:30pm, M-F. In this position, you’d be mainly responsible for using different kinds of hand tools (screwdrivers, wire cutters, glue gun, etc) to assemble different types of signs for major brands and companies. This is a great opportunity to get in with a great, local company that’s growing!
