Job Description

Production Operator, up to $20 /hr, Monroe, MI
 
Come work for a leader in the heavy gauge galvanizing industry. This large state of the art facility features 
 
Qualifications: 
  • 1+ years of experience in steel operating.
  • Able to be on feet all day, doing climbing, bending, and standing.
  • Willing to learn to operate a Slitter.
Skills:
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Ability to work on feet all day.
  • Willing and able to learn multiple departments (pickling, galvanizing, slitter, and more).
 
For this position, employees will be cross trained to be able to handle every job in the plant. This includes multiple different lines in the Galvanizing and Pickling departments. They will eventually run their own area once they learn the full process.
