Job Description

Auto Tape Operator, $16.35/hr. - Inkster, MI
 
Come help create the systems that keep the parts moving within automotive!! Make a difference!
 
Qualifications: 
  • Prior machine operating experience required.
  • Ability to lift to 40lbs. 
  • Ability to stand through whole shift.
  • Able to work hands on for 40+ hours a week.
 
Skills:
  • Ability to read a tape measure is required
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Read and understand work instructions.
 
The Auto Tape Edger will be working in a manufacturing environment where they will be changing required binding as needed, guiding mattresses into place and start the edging process while the machine moves the bed to adhere the binding of top panel and border together! They will also be responsible for cutting bindings when complete and maintaining a clean workspace. This position is a steady, medium to fast pace repetitive work environment. After your time with Workbox, you will be considered for hire-in!
