Job Description
Senior Fabricator, up to $28/hr, Farmington Hills, MI
Are you looking to further your career and grow as a Senior Fabricator? Do you have vast fabrication experience?If so, this is the position for you, and you have to look no further!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Examine and interpret blueprints/schematics to ensure components are made correctly
- Fabrication of miscellaneous heat treat equipment and parts
- Work closely with engineers to ensure accuracy and prevent errors
- Operate equipment such as: saws, drills, grinders, plasma cutters, fork lifts, scissors lifts, and overhead cranes
- Stainless steel welding and fabrication
- Pipe fitting/Pipe welding
Qualifications:
- General maintenance knowledge
- Basic understanding of shop safety and procedures
- Troubleshooting capabilities
- Willingness to take on a variety of different tasks
- Machining and/or milling experience
- Must have valid Drivers License
In this position, the Senior Fabricator will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of the products they create so they conform to customer specifications. This position is going from 7am-3:30pm M-F, but that can change a little bit sometimes depending on service calls. This position is for a heat treating manufacturer and is a direct hire opportunity!
