General Labor/Parcel Line -1st Shift- $14.00/hr. -Rincon, GA
 
Workbox Staffing is hiring a General Labor/Parcel Line in the Rincon area.

As General Labor, you will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
 
 
Skills:
  • Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in parcel delivery area.
  • Regularly lift and/or move objects 25-70lbs continuously on conveyor rollers for shipment.
  • Open bales, crates, and other containers when necessary
  • Prepare parcels for mailing utilizing light automation
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
  • Wear the proper safety equipment
 
Quality: Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings - Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.
 
Equipment: RF scan Gun, Tape Gun and Label printing machine.
 
Safety, Sanitation, Security: Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in
maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with OSHA and SDS Standards.
 
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-2 yrs. previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Good communication, organizational, time management, and basic mathematical skills
  • Dependable and Reliable
  • Inventory, Equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required
 
Additional Knowledge/Experience/Skills:
  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
  • Frequently lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs
  • Standing for long periods of time required
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color
  • vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
