Trailer mechanic with some welding experience
Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing equipment as indicated on repair orders and consistent with repair standards.
Performing safety and legally required inspections
Maintaining parts and yard organization (with direction from operations management) to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Proper execution of required billing documents (accurate and legible).
Compliance with OSHA regulations and safety requirements pertaining to this position.
Follow all safety rules and procedures.
Prepare customer billing documents.
General maintenance of truck and equipment
Communicate in an honest and professional manner to customers and supervisors
Willing to work irregular hours.
Keep all documents and maintenance records up to date on equipment assigned (i.e. DOT Log.)
Other duties as assigned
Willingness to attend training sessions
Valid driver s license required for qualified over the road truck driving.
Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment drug screen & criminal background check as a condition for employment
High School graduate or 3 months relevant experience
Acceptable technical knowledge
Good communication skills (oral and written).
Ability to take initiative
Ability to read and write
Able to work without direct supervision
