Supervisor - $60,000-$64,000.00 year - Greenville, SC


Supervise employees to meet Production objectives while maintaining high quality standards.Support production opeartions to assure achievement of the production schedule.


  • Partner with maintenance to plan, coordinate, oversea and execute machinery changeovers, setups and start ups utilizing production personnel per the production schedule, QA Display, GMP's safety and professional quality standards.

  • Coordinate efforts with production staff to assure on time start ups and to minimize downtime.

  • Observe and analyze manufacturing processes, setups, staffing levels, and equipment functionality to identify issues or improvement opportunities. Serve as liaison with production, maintenance, material control, R&D and advanced manufacturing functions to make recommendations for resolution and modifications in QA Display.

  • Assure that all necessary quality checks are conducted during the shift, assure that employees are performing assigned tasks within QA Display and GMP guidelines, monitor scheduled versus actual production rate.

  • Meet with Plant manage and other department representatives to ensure efficiency and to plan ahead to avoid potential problems.

  • Monitor employee performance and time & attendance and respond according and assign relief operators for lunches and brakes daily. Oversee temporary employee assignments. conduct performance evaluations. Properly uphold and apply employee policies and procedures.

  • Complete all necessary reports and paperwork.

  • Maintain clean, safe and efficient work areas at all times and follow GMP's

  • Oversee tasks as designated for implantation and maintenance and maintenance of the SQF Food Safety systems.


  • Thorough knowledge of food manufacturing process and equipment utilized in the area.

  • Minimum of three years of manufacturing supervisory experience

  • Good organizational and communication skills with ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and maintain positive employee relations

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing instructions and situations

  • Computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Excellent problem solving/trouble shooting ability

  • Excellent attendance with a strong record of reliability for achieving goals

  • Must be able to communicate in English (read, write and converse) in order to receive written an verbal job and safety instructions, comprehend hazardous material labeling, follow production schedule, and prepare graphs, weights and other production reports as required
