Sales Support Administrator, $12/hr - $16/hr, Grand Rapids, MI
A local Grand Rapids company that manufactures interior and exterior signs is actively seek a Sales Support Administrator on 1st Shift. This role will be assisting in the management of customer orders, communicating to sales staff and co-workers in the company. They will be required to handle customer issues in a timely manner and keep track of sales activity and contact while keeping projects on task. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Know internal process of entering new orders.
- Be a team player in sales. Assist other employees to get the orders completed
on a timely basis for benefit of customer and growing Universal Sign.
- Manage AIA billing with sales personnel.
- Manage permits procedures investigate and complete applications to get
permits in as short of time period as possible.
- Verify zoning information and conditions with cities and townships.
- Measure, verify and photograph sites as required.
- Communicate with purchasing to get materials priced as required.
- Must have computer skills Excel/Word/E-mail, and proper phone etiquette.
- Be accurate in details.
- Manage the drawing room list
- Attend Monday morning meetings and maintain meeting minutes
- Provide backup to Office Administrator as needed.

Functions and Requirements:
- Prior experience working in a Sales Support role - leading a small team (3 people)
- Must be detail oriented
- Must have prior experience managing and be great with customer support
