The qualified candidate will be working in the Purchasing Department, and performing duties in other departments as needed. The Purchasing candidate will performing duties such as; purchasing quality equipment, good and services, negotiate prices, looking for ways to save money and increase profits.
1. Purchasing quality equipment, goods and services, getting the most competitive prices
2. Negotiate, network and dealing with vendors and costs
3. Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers
4. Conduct research to find the best suppliers
5. Set Vendor specifications and criteria for all received raw material and manufacturing materials
6. Work directly with suppliers on all issues that arise either from VCMP point
Skills & Requirements
1. High School Diploma GED
2. 3 years experience in Purchasing / Supply Management environment
3. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and MAS 100 software
