This position is responsible for the management of all direct staff. To ensure the smooth running of the production process. To ensure that all products are produced to the specified specifications. Target and deadlines are met to achieve the orders. To ensure that all direct staff comply with the company s Health and Safety procedures
Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Taking full responsibility of the shift in terms of management of staff, management of production and quality targets and to ensure the smooth running of the production processes.
Facilitates production planning by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
Organize job trainings to production team to achieve desired goals.
Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; observing assembly processes and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within the assembly processes; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
Using problem solving and troubleshooting skills to ensure that all team members can identify root causes and take fast effective action to resolve the problems in hand
Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all assembly processes, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.
Ensure that materials are used and handled appropriately to avoid scraps.
Provide technical assistance to team members in their assigned job duties.
Maintain production documentations and generate routine and ad-hoc reports.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Excellent reading, organizational, oral and written communication skills
Basic understanding of computers
Ability to motivate others to meet demands established by the schedule Intimate operating knowledge of all available processing equipment and processes
Ability to work occasional weekends, holidays and evenings
High School Diploma; Degree in a technical, engineering or relevant field or equivalent work experience
Work Experience Requirements
Minimum of 2 years experience in a Manufacturing or Engineering Staff position
Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role
Must be authorized to work in the United States or have the ability to obtain authorization.
Must be able to wear required Personal Protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time
Must show proficiency in the operation of all necessary equipment
Must pass a physical exam.
