Powder Coater, $13hr. 1st Shift – Ossian IN

Workbox Staffing is hiring Power Coaters who are looking for a place to grow and a team that is like family. As a Powder Coater, you will powder paint a variety of surfaces including, Steel, Aluminum, and other shop coated metal, uncoated metal, finished hardware, accessories, and other miscellaneous metalwork. After the parts have been finished you will also inspect those parts for defects, cracks, chips, and quality. Qualified Powder Coaters will have the physical ability to stand for long periods of time, lift 50lbs repetitively, work in a non-climate controlled environment, and keep up with a steady work pace.

Other essential duties and requirements are as follows:

Maintain a Safe working environment

Ability to work Overtime if needed

Willingness to cross-train in new departments

Complete all reporting and paperwork

Verify the quality of finished workpieces by inspecting them, comparing them to templates, measuring their dimensions, or testing them in working machinery
