Walker Area - $12.00 to $12.50 an hour part-time position
PART TIME / no weekends. Approximately 20-25 hours per week. Prefer 4-5 hours per weekday; specific hours are negotiable.
The ideal candidate will possess good computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word, organizational and general math skills, independent thinking, and attention to detail. Knowledge of Quickbooks is a plus, but not required. Must be comfortable in both office and general labor settings, a quick learner, and enjoy a variety of tasks throughout their day.
As office assistant, will communicate with customers via phone and email, review and acknowledge customer purchase orders, process sales orders (in Quickbooks), enter jobs into the time-keeping system (UltraTime), calculate job costs, handle material inventory, and assist with other general office duties including filing and weekly light office cleaning.
This position will be backup for the shipping/receiving clerk. In shipping/receiving, will help prepare and package tools for shipment, pull inventory or materials, and process shipments.
Company has a casual work environment. Can be somewhat flexible in creating a work schedule that will allow fulfillment of all job duties during normal business hours.
