They specialize in supplying springs, snap-rings, wire forms, clips, clamps, stamping, and a variety of sub-assemblies.
The Machine Operator plays a very important role in the overall process of their business. The duties for this position are to perform a variety of basic spring making processes using machinery and basic measuring tools, based on daily business demands. Possess a basic understanding of spring properties, wire specifications, part measurements, and operator safety. Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team. Must also have hi lo experience.

Functions and Requirements:
Work with team to deliver quality springs to each customer on time, every time.
Use tools and industrial machinery to process material into finished springs according to customer requirements.
Operate machinery, making the necessary minor adjustments, to maximize hourly throughput and product quality.
Use precision measuring tools, such as micrometers, calipers, gauges and load testers to perform regular product checks and minimize material waste.
Log production events into the ERP system, throughout production.
Ensures part conformance throughout production.
Control specified dimensions of produced parts and adjusts machine for minor deviations. Notify the supervisor immediately regarding major machine malfunctions. and/or when product cannot be brought back within stated specifications.
Ensures product traceability using accurate WIP label information. Preserves part integrity from machine output to the input at the next process. Prevent rust, product contamination, and mixed parts in each part batch while staging parts for the next process.
Ensure 100% defect prevention through regular product checks, part sorting, and continuous performance improvement.
Perform 5S and housekeeping duties at assigned station daily. Perform assigned PM schedule daily.
Adhere to all safety standards, policies and safe work practices
Participates in all training, and applies new information, in order to improve production efficiency and product quality.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Able to read and comprehend simple work instructions in English, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Able to identify differences in shape, color, length, and angle.
Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
