The Electrician is responsible to perform electrical/mechanical repairs, installation, or preventive maintenance on presses and other production equipment.
Perform electrical/mechanical repairs for equipment on presses or as established by schedule, priority, or the Machine Maintenance Supervisor.
Repair and replace electrical guards or other safety devices on all production equipment.
Trouble-shoot system failures on all assigned equipment.
Assist in the installation of production auxiliary equipment.
Perform other duties as directed or assigned.
Ability to stand, bend, stoop and lift up to 40 lbs.
Excellent attendance on time and daily.
Must pass post-offer drug screen.
Self-motivated is a must!
Experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machine controls
Understand relay logic and electrical schematics
Familiarity with press mechanics and auxiliary equipment
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and lubrications
Knowledge of electrical codes
High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
Certified as a journeyman electrician or the equivalent experience.
Experience with PLC s and sensors
Turn in electrical schematics for update
Working knowledge of servo motors and controls.
