Team Lead, $18-19/ hour DOE - Clinton Twp

If so, your search is over!Local state of the art plastic mold shop to the Medical & Automotive Industries in Clinton Twp is seeking a Team Lead for their Secondary Operations Department, Plastic Injection Mold Machine Operators. Must be able to work independently (will direct the work of others on 2nd shift. Currently two Pad Print Operators), have excellent attendance, above average problem solving skills, pad print machine set up experience, pant Print Machine troubleshooting experience, experience in molding and pad printing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Keep up with production pace throughout the shift
•Follow all direction from supervisor and leads
•Wear all personal protective equipment required and work in a safety conscious manner
Responsibilities for this job include: 
•Set up and operate a high-volume Pad Print Machine
•Read work orders and perform work as assigned by
•Responsible for detecting defects during print production
•Troubleshoot printing issues associated with the Pad printing process including mis- registration, adhesion issues, image opacity,
•Inspect and examine the printed images for clarity, accuracy to artwork, conformance to specifications,
•Recommend process improvements and work with management to implement approved changes.
•Blend inks, catalysts and other additives to specifications to ensure proper ink chemistry is developed and maintained throughout the print
•Change printing plates, transfer pads, etc., as needed to maintain an image that meets the requirements of the order
•Assemble/ disassemble ink cups, clean all equipment and tools related to the Pad Printing
•Examine and assume responsibility for work orders in order to meet production requirements/quality /details.
•Responsible for general printer cleaning and maintenance
Job responsibilities 
•Operate pad printing machine 
•Operate thermal weld press 
•Secondary machining
•Assembly and packaging  
•Run several pad print presses with different size and color capacities
•Job orders to determine details such as quantities to be mfg. or pad printed
•Hand load parts or unprinted parts on holding fixtures 
•Inspect and examine printed products for print clarity, conformance to specifications
•Maintain specified operating levels and to detect malfunctions, make any necessary adjustments to improve print quality
•Making measurements and adjustments to control color and viscosity
•Thin printing inks, using specified thinners
•Place printed items in ovens to dry or cure ink
•Pack and label boxes, and transport them to gualityassuranc area  
•Prior production experience 
•Previous warehouse experience
