Customer Service Representative, 1st Shift, $15/hr - Grand Rapids, MI
A local Grand Rapids supply chain management company is actively seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative on 1st Shift Monday - Friday from 7:30 - 4:30 pm (OT as needed). The Customer Service Rep will be updating daily shipment status using a variety of methods via phone, email, and carrier websites. They will handle re-consignments and communicate any transportation problems to clients. All communication must be thoroughly documented in shipment notes. They must also answer phones, responding to customer requests for shipment status information and take requests for shipment pick-up. A training period of 2 weeks will be provided. All candidates must pass their Wonderlic test during the interview (takes approximately 1 hour!) which measures problem-solving, reading comprehension, and basic math skills.

Functions and Requirements:
- Must have 2 + years of customer service experience
- Experience working in a Call Center is strongly preferred
- HS Diploma or GED
- Excellent typing skills
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Extensive experience with Documenting notes
- Must pass Wonderlic test during interview (takes 1 hour!)
