Assembles parts of various materials such as plastic, wood, metal, rubber, or paperboard to produce subassemblies or finished goods by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities including the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Performs a variety of standardized assembly operations requiring skill and dexterity to maintain quality and tolerances using hand tools, light power tools and fixtures.
Cross-trains and rotates through different work stations as production needs require.
Review, select and print pick sheets for Material Handler to support Assembly work flow.
Address defective materials or questionable conditions by alerting the appropriate individuals.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
Follows safety guidelines and Personal Protective Equipment requirements.
Uses computer to create product labels, clock in/out of work orders and communicate details of non-conforming materials.
Regular and timely attendance is required.

Ability to accurately distinguish difference in colors per color standards.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Education and/or Experience:
Understanding of applicable ISO procedures.
High school diploma/equivalent and/or 1 year related work experience.
