Position Summary

Support the Corporate Finance strategy and provide financial and accounting leadership to the

U.S. business by actively directing and coordinating the U.S. financial planning and budget

management functions. This position reports to and works closely with the U.S. President, and

has a matrix reporting relationship to the Corporate Chief Financial Officer. Supervises the

Accounting Assistant.

Primary/Essential Responsibilities and Duties

Accountable for guiding financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing

policies and procedures in accordance with group policies and Headquarters

methodology for the NJ and SC locations.

Recommend strategies to enhance profitability and cash flow, and assist the team in the

implementation of those strategies

Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls

Provide monthly reports to Headquarters

Oversee budgets and accounts for both U.S. offices located in New Jersey and South

Carolina including day- to- day financial management, including ongoing review and

projection of cash flow

Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and the overall analytical review and

interpretation of the results

Prepare and oversee preparation and review of supplemental financial reports

Process weekly payroll accurately and in timely matter and maintains attendance

records, timesheets and payroll files. Prepares payroll reports as requested.

Provide financial guidance for projects across the business

Responsible for accurate costing and costing methodology

Responsible for financial issues pertaining to local authorities such as IRS, taxes,

insurance, etc.

Grow financial department with growth of company

Required Skills and Qualifications

Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS standards

Experience with consolidated reporting

5 8 years of experience in Corporate Accounting

Knowledge of cost accounting for manufacturing and distribution organization

Experience in multi-divisional budgeting processes

Managerial or leadership experience with the ability to affect and drive change

Able to motivate and influence business direction

Strong analytical, financial and organizational skills

Proficient in Accounting Information Systems

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Highly collaborative, team-oriented, able to encourage and mentor others and establish

and maintain relationships

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Works in an office and warehouse environments

Frequently sits for long periods of time

Frequently speaks, reads, writes and uses a computer keyboard

Requires occasional standing, walking, lifting, stooping, or bending

Requires limited local and overnight travel
