Material Handler -
A material handler maintains production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product.
Essential Job Functions
? Effectively drive a forklift in a safe manner.
? Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock;
recording location of inventory.
? Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on
? Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading and
? Understands proper handling techniques so that product integrity is maintained.
? Understands inventory control so that FIFO can be maintained if required.
? Understand and comply with associated ISO requirements.
? Completion High School, GED or equivalent.
? Forklift driving is required.
? Organization, deadline oriented and time management are required.
? Self-disciplined to keep busy within the plant.
? CDL License is preferred.

This is an active role as the employee will work in a manufacturing environment. While performing the
essential functions of the job the employee will be required to stand, balance or walk on a consistent
basis and may on a frequent basis be required to twist, turn, stoop, squat, kneel, bend or reach. The
employee must use safe lifting techniques when lifting objects up to 50 pounds and carry out repetitive
hand/wrist movements to include forearm rotation. Specific vision abilities required job include close
vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is
frequently required to listen and speak and use his/her hands to operate equipment.
