Workbox Staffing is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician for one of our prestigious clients located in Kentwood, MI.  This company is a supplier of airflow management and water-deflection systems to OEM and Tier Manufacturers.  Their goal is to make automobiles lighter and more fuel-efficient with the products they manufacture.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance functions
  • Set up tooling to meet the process requirements as needed
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment in a safe and timely manner
  • Perform welding, cutting operations in a safe manner as needed 
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic issues as needed
  • Diagnose & direct replacement of certain electrical repairs
  • Other duties as assigned
 
Skills:
  • Standard knowledge of tools
  • Ability to obtain a Hi-Lo Certification
  • Should have reading, writing, communication and math skills
  • High School plus specialized course work
  • Journeyman Machine Repair OR 5 years of experience and related course work 
  • Standard knowledge of Microsoft Office
