The Inventory Associate reports to the Michigan Warehouse Supervisor.
The Inventory Associate’s duties will include a variety of material handling activities including moving, unpacking and repacking materials. The use of powered material handling equipment is frequently used to retrieve materials from storage locations. Wireless scanners are used to capture inventory movements. Ideal candidates will demonstrate an exceptional commitment to safety, attention to detail, sound judgment, strong work ethic and a very positive attitude. This is an entry level position and no previous work experience is required. However, prior experience in a fast-paced warehousing environment and with material handling equipment is a plus.

Retrieve and deliver materials to and from inventory locations.
Pack and unpack inventory
Refill pick locations with product from overstock
Conduct inventory counts
Process transactions on computer equipment or hand-held wireless equipment
Operate motorized retrieval equipment, as needed, to carry out duties
Other warehouse duties may occur from time to time
Comply with ISO9001:2008 regulations and procedures.
General housekeeping of warehouse
General Requirements and Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Be an active participant in a "hands-on" work environment
Ability to read and write English
Basic math proficiency
Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time – Frequently
Physically able to lift heavy objects up to 60 pounds – Occasionally
Bending and twisting – Occasionally
Use of close vision – Frequently
Use hands/fingers to reach, handle, and feel – Frequently
