Elkhart company needs a 1st shift it's essentially holding little wires and feeding them into a machine that strips the outer plastic jacket off. This person MAY also help out with testing the 7-way cords - which is a stand up job ---- it's holding the 7 way cords - which are about 1 to 1.5 pounds each, and holding a small metal prong against the end of each of 7 different colored wires --- so they can't be color blind. They'd then help pack the cords into boxes - our average number of cords per box is about 20 ----- usually they move them in batches of 5, so total weight is about 5-7 pounds.
This is the same thing Marty is doing (she's doing a great job by the way) person to work on either the 4-Way Flat line or the 7-Way. Will be taking pieces of wire, placing each piece into small machine based on corresponding thickness then putting each piece into another small machine that puts in the terminals. May also be doing some labeling and bagging - which is putting small pieces into a bag until desired weight is reached, then heat sealing the bag and attaching a label..
