Job Description

Welder, $21/hr - Comstock Park, MI
 
Steady, year round work in a union shop!
  
Qualifications: 
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must have welding experience and Certification is a Plus 
 
Skills:
  • Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be familiar with break forming welding, and other structural fabrication processes 
  • Read mechanical engineering blueprints
  • Be able to stand throughout the shift
 
In this role you will be reviewing drawings, specs, and/or verbal instructions as well as exercising judgment and experience to plan and accomplish goals. Based on instructions/information given, they will make fabricated products using hand tools, machine tools, and welding equipment, as well as working with other departments.
