Material Handler, $16.00/hour - Muskegon

A local Muskegon foundry specializing in developing and producing superalloys is seeking Material Handlers on 2nd Shift. Hours are 2:00 pm-10:00 pm (Monday-Friday) plus overtime as required. 

Workbox Staffing is hiring Material Handlers in Muskegon.

Working as part of a team to assist in the manufacturing of superalloys!  Will be working with a leading innovator in the investment casting industry joining a company that has been around for over 60 years!

Skills:

• Maintains a clean workstation to help assist in the safety of the facility.

• Will be responsible for quality inspection of castings.  

• Responsible for staging cells, moving materials, and staging castings for shipment.

• Responsible for handling and moving incoming raw materials throughout the plant.

• Must be able to cross-train in other departments as needed. 

• Follow operational and safety procedures set forth. 

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing experience is required.

• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs at times may be required.

• Ability to read and interpret a variety of written procedures, part numbers, and operational instruction sheets.  

• Ability to pay attention to detail.

• Ability to work well in a team environment.

• GED or High School Diploma is required

• Previous material handling experience is required.

• Must have previous forklift experience.
