Job Description
1st shift - MIG Welder, $17-$19.50 - Huntertown, IN
Come work for a highly sought-after, local fabrication company!
Responsibilities:
- Will weld for 90% of the shift
- May need to do miscellaneous tasks- to clean up the work area and assist in general
cleaning of the shop- 10% of the shift - Produce a quality product by welding using Mig/blueprints
Skills:
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to stay on task with little supervision
- MIG welding experience
- Blueprint experience
- Fabricating experience
- Must have your own welding helmet
This company produces custom truck bodies for utility vehicles. In this role, you would weld together components, as specified by work instructions for each job, using gas metal, arc-welding equipment. You would then be expected to inspect welds and rework as needed. 1-year minimum MIG experience required, extra bonus points if you know stick welding too. Overtime is available but NOT mandatory.
